City of Glass Spolier Review

City of Glass is the third book in the mortal instruments series by Cassandra Clare. Clary Fray needs to save her mother’s life, which was in a coma because of the spell made by a high warlock named Ragnor Fell. Clary needs to go to the Glass city to find him but Jace would not let her go because he’s afraid that the Clave is going to abuse her power. She needs to get to the Idris(Glass City) no matter what even it means breaking the law.

The book was full of actions and revelations. The first 50 pages of the book just kept feeling you in with compelling suspense which got me really drawn. Valentine now has the three mortal instruments and he is going to summon Angel Raziel and wish for the defeat of the shadowhunters for him to create a new breed of Nephilims that will be his followers. In this book the true son of Valentine was revealed in the person named Sebastian/Jonathan which has the blood of a demon. Valentines experimented on them but Clary and Jace have the angel’s blood. Jace didn’t turn out to be his real son but only an adoptive son.

In this book all your questions had been answered, visions have been explained and all your confusion was enlightened. I can’t help but feel sorry for Valentine, I know that he did so many bad things but you can’t help but be merciful for him because he still has a heart and he loved Clary’s mother and Jace but the Angel Raziel gave him his verdict because of his crooked beliefs he deserved to die. I’m also glad that Clary and Jace were not siblings; Simon had the Mark of Cain that Clary drew on him that gave him a protection. Just so you think it was all over another riddle has been left for us by the Seelie Queen. I love this series and I can’t get enough of it.
