The Microsoft Surface Tab

Microsoft has made recognizable efforts to spice up the tablet war by making a tablet on its own. This is the new Microsoft Surface Tab, and was launched on the same day as Windows 8. Windows RT Surface Tab comes with a range of featured Windows environment and it of great use in daily office work.

It uses a Quad core 1.3 GHz Cortex A9 chipset, 2 GB RAM, UPL GeForce GPU, USB port connections, Bluetooth 4.0 for a fast transfer of music, photos and videos. It has 32/64 GB internal storage and it also has a micro SDSX slot which support upto 64GB if you need external storage. An amazing 10.6 inch with ClearType HD LCD touch screen with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution.

Besides that it has Dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n connectivity with Wi-Fi Direct. Windows 8 RT with Sky Dive support and activation. An 8 Mega Pixel camera on the back with HD recording and a 1.2 MP front facing camera with HD output. They shoot 720p videos at 30 feet per second with auto focus. Another plus point is the VaporMg casing which gives a feeling of the tab being more solid and is also very comfortable to touch.

It has a 31.5 Wh Battery which can provide upto 8 and a half hour of continuous video playback. It weighs in at 680 grams which means that it is much heavier than other 10 inch tablets. Besides the tab, Microsoft has also made loads of accessories to go with the Microsoft Surface tablet which includes a keyboard dock, screen cover, and much more.
