Toshiba Wants a Piece of the Tablet Market

Yes people, you heard it right. Toshiba is planning to come back to the game and get a piece of its own. It has launched its latest tablet which is the Excite 10 SE powered by Android. The tablet was released on Thursday, December 6th. Toshiba definitely wants a good piece of the market as they have already planned everything, starting from the speculations, the price of the tab, as well as its OS.

It has a NVIDIA Tegra 3 Super-4-PLUS-1 quad-core processor, AutoBrite HD touch screen, 10.1 inch screen, 801.11 b/ g/ n Wi-Fi Bluetooth 3.0, 7.2 Mega Pixel HD camera on the back and a 2.0 HD Mega Pixel camera on the front. It uses a micro-USB for both charging and expansion.

It has the latest version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as its OS. It also features a micro SD slot at the side so that you can have more memory to store precious photos, data, movies, videos, apps, games and much more.

It is just 10 mm thick and weighs 640 grams. For all those people who like music, the Excite SE 10 tab comes with Premium SRS Voice Stereo Speakers.

The 16 GB version of the Excite 10 SE tablet can be ordered and bought directly from with a price tag of $349.99. For now, the tablet is exclusive as it can be bought only in the US as Toshiba has not yet announced any other store name from where it can be bought. With such good characteristics, Toshiba’s Excite 10 SE tablet will surely get a nice piece for its own from the tablet market.
